Elgato has announced that the Elgato Game Capture HD has reached its end of life almost six years after it launched. The small device launched in 2012 and is capable of capturing up to 1080p at 30 frames per second from any console with an HDMI output. Combined with a PC or Mac, the Elgato Game Capture HD was a relatively affordable option for capturing footage from a console for use on the likes of YouTube.
Having empowered content creators for almost 6 years, it’s time to say goodbye to the GOAT, Elgato Game Capture HD, as it goes end of life.
