Crytek is looking to expand its shooter Warface with the current most popular game mode out there, Battle Royale. Made popular by games like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Battle Royale sees an ever-shrinking play area forcing players together until one person or team is left standing.
Unlike PUBG, the game only supports 16 players which spawn in at random locations rather than dropping in via parachute. This spawning decision and lack of player count may hinder the Crytek version for popularity but that is what player feedback is for.
Warface also includes more traditional PvP modes as well as co-op mission-based multiplayer options.
The new game mode will be free in the next Warface update which hasn’t been dated yet. So if you are a fan of Warface it doesn’t hurt to take a look at the mode.
Warface is a free to play shooter which is available now on Windows PC.
