EA Sports are promising that they will do everything they can to keep Madden NFL 18 and NBA Live 18 running as Hurricane Irma hits Florida. The two sports titles are made at EA Tiburon which is located just outside of Orlando and was evacuated due to the incoming storm. More than 1.3 million people are under mandatory evacuation orders although the zone doesn’t extend to Orlando. However, EA is taking precautions.
Luckily for sports fans, the game’s servers aren’t hosted in Florida themselves so the development team will be working on restarting and updating any issues until they get the all clear to return to their offices.
