Trevor “TmarTn” Martin and Thomas “ProSyndicate” Cassel won’t face prosecution over their YouTube videos which allegedly failed to disclose their ownership of the CSGO Gambling site CSGOLotto.com which they promoted in their videos.
YouTubers HonorTheCall and h3h3Productions raised the alarms after Trevor “TmarTn” Martin and Thomas “ProSyndicate” Cassel promoted videos as if they were planning on a deal between the site and themselves in exchange for payment as if they had no previous connection with the site.
Instead of prosecuting the duo, the FTC has decided that instead, the YouTubers will disclose any promotions going forward, if they fail to do so, they will be handed a $40,000 fine for every infraction. The FTC’s decision also means that TmarTn and ProSyndicate don’t have to admit any wrong doing with regards to the investigation.
