Microsoft has confirmed that the speculation that a ReCore Definitive Edition was on the way is in fact true. The game developed by Comcept and Armature Studio will see the Definitive Edition launch on the 29th August 2017 for $19.99.
While ReCore has been available for some time on Windows 10 PC and Xbox One, ReCore Definitive Edition adds a new adventure called Eye of Obsidian, a new Corebot frame, and HDR support.
As one of the last remaining humans, forge friendships with courageous robotic companions and lead them on an epic adventure through a mysterious dynamic world. Includes the new “Eye of Obsidian” adventure and “T8-NK” Corebot frame.
The Corebot frame in question was one that was strangely missing from the original release even though it appeared on the box art. T8-NK is a tank like robot which can help reach places you might have previously been unable to reach due to quick sand. Although some players worked around T8-NK’s omission, it is a welcome addition for those who chose to wait and obtain the world’s secrets in an intended way.
ReCore is available now for Windows 10 PC and Xbox One and makes up part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
