Alan Wake will be getting a massive discount as part of the Alan Wake Sunset Sale before the game is de-listed on the 15th May. Remedy Entertainment have confirmed that they won’t be able to sell the game after the 15th May due to the games’ music license expiring.
The game will be available with a 90% discount on Steam starting tomorrow, 13th May.

The de-listing will also affect the Xbox 360 version of the game although Remedy do not control the pricing on the Xbox Marketplace. For those who want to play the game on Xbox 360 or Xbox One via backwards compatibility, you only have a couple of days to pick it up before it is gone from the Marketplace.
Players who own the game won’t see it disappear from their library either, Remedy confirmed that it just won’t be able to keep selling the game.
While the game will still be available through physical retailers, it is likely that will only last until their stock exists.
