Bethesda and id Software might not have released Quake Champions out of Beta yet but that isn’t stopping them from hosting the first Quake Champions eSports Tournament at QuakeCon.
The tournament will host both Duel Mode and 4vs4 team-based mode, Sacrifice. Qualifiers will take place in June as QuakeCon kicks off on the 24th August.
id Software will also be opening up the Quake Champions Beta starting this Friday and it will run through until the 21st May and run continually rather than the weekend sessions previously held. The Beta will also get the Sacrifice game mode for the first time during the Tech Test.
Quake Champions releases for PC later this year.
