Sony is reportedly offering to refund owners of Prey that pre-ordered the game from the PlayStation Store and didn’t get their ten percent PS Plus discount. The PS Plus discount was being applied during the launch window of Prey but apparently hadn’t been retroactively applied to some of the players that had pre-ordered the game.
Sony sent out the following notice to those affected players.
Thank you for your recent purchase of Prey. As a PlayStation Plus member, this should have been 10% off. We are correcting the issue and will refund your account within 3-5 business days.
That means, if you got the notice mail from Sony, you should expect to see PSN Credit applied to your account worth $5.99.
Prey is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you buy your games in physical form, Amazon Prime members can still get the game for $47.99 thanks to their promotion on new game releases.
