Thimbleweed Park released for the Xbox One back in March, now the Windows 10 version is also available. As part of the release, the game is now part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
The game is developed by Terrible Toybox, Inc. which is made up of some of the minds behind classics like Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island. In Thimbleweed Park, you switch between five protagonists as you try to solve a murder case but find yourself being drawn into something bigger.
A haunted hotel, an abandoned circus, a burnt-out pillow factory, a dead body pixelating under the bridge, toilets that run on vacuum tubes… you’ve never visited a place like this before. Five people with nothing in common have been drawn to this rundown, forgotten town. They don’t know it yet, but they are all deeply connected. And they’re being watched.
Thimbleweed Park is available for Linux, Mac and PC via Steam and Good Old Games, for Mac through the App Store and for Windows 10 PC and Xbox One.
If you already purchased the game on Xbox One, the Windows 10 version will be available for you to download at no extra charge. If you didn’t previously own it, now you get it for both platforms for the price of one which is currently $19.99 / £16.74 / 19,99€.
