NetherRealm Studios and WB Games have lifted the lid on the first DLC for its soon to be released fighter, Injustice 2. The content that is going by the name of Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 1 is included in the Ultimate Edition of the game or available to buy separately.
The pack includes three additional fighters; Batman’s protégé, Red Hood, royal exile from Tamaran, Starfire, and the leader of the Lin Kuei and Mortal Kombat regular, Sub-Zero join the fight.
The three additional fighters represent one third of the total DLC characters included in Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition which promises nine DLC characters. That is in addition to the pre-order character Darkseid.
Looking carefully at the promotional art we can take an educated guess at who else will be joining the roster in the future.
On the left, we seem to have Black Manta in the middle flanked on either side by maybe Rorschach on the right and an unknown character to his left. On the right, we clearly see the silhouette of Raiden from Mortal Kombat prominently in the middle. and Gotham based Azrael on his left. To the right of Raiden we have an unknown female opponent.
Take a look at the image and see if you agree with who we called out and if you can recognise the ones we don’t.
Injustice 2 launches on the 16th May for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 1 doesn’t have a confirmed release date but as they have announced it, it could be on or very soon after the game launch.
