While the next Call of Duty seems to be focusing on how “American soldiers won the war” in a typical Hollywood style storyline, Sledgehammer did field the question about whether there would be female soldiers in the multiplayer of Call of Duty: WWII.

The news didn’t sit well with some who fell back on the fact that women, for the most part, didn’t serve in the front lines of World War II. Why they try to use that in their arguments we don’t know as the soldiers that gave their lives didn’t have quick respawns and quick scoping either. Women actually played a large part of the allied forces winning the war including being a key part of cracking the Enigma cyphers.
Call of Duty: WWII is on the 3rd November.
