Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn was funded on IndieGoGo after reaching $458,884 of its $450,000 goal. That funding was for a PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One version. Now, Nintendo’s newest machine is joining the roster with a Nintendo Switch version being confirmed.
Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch confirmed the additional platform. In addition to Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn going to the machine, other Saber Interactive games were also confirmed to be going to the Switch too including NBA Playgrounds and an unannounced four-player co-op shooter.
There is no word on when Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn will release for all the platforms mentioned. The IndieGoGo campaign has been quiet since December 2016 leading some to believe the project had died but with this announcement, it doesn’t seem to be the case.
