It looks like Double Fine is planning to release Broken Age on Xbox One, two years after it released on PlayStation 4. Why Double Fine hasn’t released it before now is unknown, perhaps they have a deal with Sony to bring games there exclusively for a timed period.
Broken Age was originally Kickstarted and released for PC followed by PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, Ouya and mobile versions but no Xbox One version ever emerged.
The game has been rated by PEGI, the European rating board and has a release date of today, although that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Double Fine has shunned the Microsoft console on frequent occasions with re-releases like Full Throttle Remastered, Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Grim Fandango Remastered not seeing a release on the Xbox One.
Psychonauts 2 is planned to be coming to Xbox One though.
