Activision has officially confirmed that their next yearly shooter will be going back in history with Call of Duty: WWII. While it hasn’t shown off anything of the game yet, it has confirmed that the global announcement will occur on the 26th April at 10am Pacific, 1pm Eastern, 6pm UK (check your local time here).

Call of Duty: WWII is being developed by SledgeHammer Games and if history serves, it should be releasing around the beginning of November.
That part of the announcement has also manifested as a countdown timer on the website. You can follow that on the official website.
Call of Duty: WWII is likely to release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and due to Activision’s deal with Sony, DLC map packs will have 30 days exclusivity before being released on PC and Xbox One. That much we know thanks to the UK box art being on display on Amazon UK’s website and sporting the PlayStation Exclusive branding at the bottom.
