Previously, you could update your gamerpic by transferring the image to a USB flash drive from your PC and plugging it in to your console. You can still do that, but if you have a Windows 10 PC, you can do it all remotely instead.
To get started simply follow these steps
- Load the Xbox app
- Make your way to your profile page from the ‘hamburger menu’
- Click “Customize”
- Select the “Edit” option next to your gamerpic
- Select the “Choose a custom picture” option above the predefined images
- It’ll open an Explorer Window, point at your image of choice
- Upload a custom picture
- Click “Save”
It will be applied after it is processed and passes a short review process. To be a valid image, it must be at least 1080×1080 pixels.
Download the Xbox Beta app from the Microsoft Store for your Windows 10 PC now.
