Respawn Entertainment’s next free content offering for Titanfall 2 is coming next week with the release of A Glitch in the Frontier DLC. Released on the 25th April, the new free content includes two maps and a new, well new for this release of Titanfall, game mode.
The content brings a new map called “Glitch” which is a medium-sized arena built for objective modes. It also adds a new Live Fire map called “Deck” which consists of tight interior spaces and open courtyards.
It also adds the game mode, Marked for Death, which appeared in the first Titanfall game. In Marked for Death, each team has one VIP player who is the target of the opposition. It is your job to defend your target while also looking to take down theirs.
All is not as it appears on the Frontier – prepare to enter the newest free DLC pack for Titanfall 2: A Glitch in the Frontier – featuring the new map “Glitch”. Inspired by Captain Lastimosa’s home planet of Harmony, vertical drops and long, twisting paths dominate the environment, perfect for chaining together long wall runs to seamlessly glide across the map. A new Live Fire map also joins the fold: Deck, which features tight interior spaces, exposed courtyards, and watchful drones circling overhead. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, the ever-helpful M.R.V.N.s are now here as an all-new faction to lend a cheery robotic hand. Finally, the new Pulse Blade execution is available to unlock to use whenever you feel the need to get your point across.
Titanfall 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A Glitch in the Frontier DLC releases on the 25th April.
