Sony has started rolling out PlayStation 4 Firmware Update 4.55 with little fanfare. The system update looks to improve the stability of the console rather than bringing anything in the way of new features.
Here is the full range of change notes for the release:
- This system software update improves the quality of the system performance.
Coming in at just 339.9MB, the firmware shouldn’t take too long to apply before you can get playing again. If you aren’t ready for it, you can opt out of taking the update for now.
The last update came last month on the 9th March 2017 and brought the firmware up to version 4.50 and more features compared to this minor update today.
