G2A, the key reseller, is looking to publish its own game on Steam. The game, G2A Land is a VR title that allows you to experience a theme park without leaving your home. The game is being developed by G2A Dev Studio and the description reads:
A VR amusement park with plenty of attractions you can experience without leaving home. Get ready to discover an amusement park filled with fun and pure awesomeness.
DIVE into an underwater world to admire the stunning beauty of ocean depths and the calming effect of the deep abyss. SHOOT it up at the range where you aim at the shooting targets one by one and fire away with your pistol.
Land is great for those who want to experience breath taking places at a relaxing pace. DARE to come face-to-face with Gotham. Fly, speed through the streets, and glide over buildings at an ultra-super speed.
Accept the challenge to master your fear and soar through the air in an exhilarating, bumpy roller coaster ride that takes you higher than any other virtual roller coaster and makes you scream at the top of your lungs.
The trailer below isn’t doing so well with ratings being excessively in the negative. Although to be fair, it hasn’t had that many views. What is getting attention is the Steam Greenlight page where the project currently resides and lets just say, the Steam regulars aren’t being kind to the company.
Oddly, G2A is a banned word on the Steam forums yet it looks like Steam is likely to allow G2A Land to go up on their store. The estimated release date is Q2 2017 although there is no sign of the game on G2A’s own storefront.
To be fair, if this were anyone except G2A, it probably wouldn’t be getting the negative responses it is seeing. It actually looks well made and quite interesting in the realm of VR.
