Cities: Skylines Xbox One Edition gets April Release Date
ARK: Survival Evolved Patch 256 Brings Underwater Bases and More
SEGA is planning something, we have to wait for just under 8 days until we can find out as we can see on their new teaser site.
Rumours have it that the countdown is something to do with Bayonetta. On the 1st April, SEGA released an 8-bit version of Bayonetta that you can get for free on Steam now.
The countdown site shows Bayonetta’s gun clad shoes in the background adding some weight to the potential of it being a Bayonetta 3 announcement.
Bayonetta 2 was the last in the entry and launched exclusively for Wii U after Nintendo helped fund the development. Whether a Bayonetta 3 would be exclusive to the Switch would have to be seen.
Last year, at E3, designer Hideki Kamiya said he has been thinking “a lot” about making Bayonetta 3
We’ve talked a lot about it internally at the company and I’ve written some outlines for what the game would be. And I feel really confident it would be cool if we got the chance to make it.
The countdown seems to be using your own system clock which is unusual as it means people around the world have different times. No, setting your system clock into the future doesn’t show the announcement either, it just puts the clock at 00:00:00.
So if SEGA is planning on announcing something when the counter expires, it isn’t clear which time zone they are planning on doing it.
