The Video Game Orchestra is a group of musicians that combine rock and orchestral music to recreate the familiar tunes you know from video games.
On the 25th March 2017, the Video Game Orchestra is heading to Tokyo at The Hitomi Memorial Hall and will be focusing on games that originate from Japan. That includes the likes of Final Fantasy XV, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Tales of Zestria, Sonic, Castlevania and more. The songs will be backed up by visuals which have been provided by the game developers themselves.
Boston-based Producer Shota Nakama of Video Game Orchestra said
We want to create THE most amazing video game concert that no one has ever experienced anywhere in the world, and the Video Game Orchestra is the only one that can accomplish what we truly envision.
