Respawn Entertainment has recently shown more of the Titanfall 2 Live Fire mode with a new gameplay trailer.
The Live Fire mode has 2 maps, 6vs6 pilots only, each round lasts 60 seconds and there are no respawns. These rules mean the rounds a quick, frantic and possibly a terrible idea.
While the gameplay trailer shows lots of fancy kills using proper skill, what it could be like in the hands of real-world players is entirely different. Either you will go up against opponents that dominate your team making for frustrating gameplay or, you’ll end up with some camping to run down the clock surrounded by sentry turrets and explosives.
Like the games’ Coliseum mode the idea works in theory but in practice, it could be the most tedious thing in the otherwise excellent game.
We are hoping Respawn has covered these scenarios when making the mode which is available as a free update in the near future. There is no current release date for when we can expect the update including Titanfall 2 Live Fire mode.
Titanfall 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
