While the Nintendo Switch is launching worldwide on the 3rd March we are pretty limited to everyone having identically coloured consoles. That is unless you live in Japan where Nintendo Japan is offering the option to customise your colour scheme.
Nintendo is offering customers the option to mix and match the colours of their systems. Potential owners of the colourful Nintendo Switch can select the colours of the Joy-Con controllers and the wrist straps. The options on colour schemes are pretty limited right now as you can pick from red, blue and grey for each item. Wrist straps are also available in black, something which Nintendo hadn’t shown off yet.
It isn’t clear whether Nintendo will offer this colour matching process in other territories but if they did, it’d be likely that you would have to go through Nintendo to get it rather than your favourite or local retailer.
