Nintendo has announced that starting on the 3rd March 2017, the Nintendo Switch will be available worldwide and will retail for $299.99 / £279.99 / ¥29,980. In a first for the company, the console will not have region locking meaning you will be free to import from other territories if they get titles that don’t make their way West.
The Nintendo Switch will feature a paid online service similar to Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus, the online service will commence in Autumn 2017. Until then, the online service will remain free The machine will be able to network wirelessly though allowing for up to eight devices to play games like Mario Kart 8 locally.

Games wise, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2 Switch, Super Bomberman R, Skylanders Imaginators, and Just Dance 2017. are confirmed for launch. Other games revealed include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, ARMS, Fire Emblem Warriors, Minecraft and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers.
We expect most Nintendo fans that pick up the console at launch will be looking at this as their game of choice:
