Crowdfunding and investment platform, Fig is kicking off 2017 with a campaign for Little Bug by developer Buddy System.
Little Bug puts you in the shoes of Nyah who is lost in the woods as the night draws in. With no sign of her mother, the little protagonist has the ability to control a powerful spirit with her mind. While the game is a platform based title, you use twin-stick controllers. One for Nyah and the other for her companion spirit.
The game also includes the following features:
- Play local co-op with a friend
- Explore secret areas
- Blast through new obstacles, like melting barriers and movable objects
- Experiment with new abilities for Nyah
- Discover the fate of Nyah’s mom as you play through the full story
- Face off against an expanded cast of restless spirits and more
It has already managed to reach 10% of its $35,000 goal and has over 36 days left of its campaign. The campaign will close on the 9th February 2017 at 6pm Pacific.
Buddy System is targeting both Windows PC and Macintosh platforms.
Fig offers both the traditional kind of crowd funding where you can pledge money in exchange for loot as well as an option for investing in the project in return for returns depending on how the game does at release. Head over to Fig.co to check out the campaign.
