Now we are past the holidays, Niantic has taken the Pokémon GO Special, Great and Ultra Boxes and switched them to Pokémon GO Bronze, Silver and Gold Boxes.
You can pick up the Bronze Box for 460 Pokécoins, the Silver Box for 980 Pokécoins and the Gold Box for 2,480 Pokécoins. Here is what you can expect in each box.
- Bronze Box – 100 Poké Balls and 8 Lure Modules
- Silver Box – 8 Incense, 8 Lucky Eggs and 8 Lure Modules
- Gold Box – 50 Great Balls, 25 Incense, 25 Lucky Eggs and 16 Lure Modules
If you were to purchase the individual items from the Gold Box on their own, you would be paying 3,860 Pokécoins and even then you wouldn’t get everything as you can’t purchase Great Balls on their own.
Also, some Pokémon GO events are running out so you have a brief window to complete them. On Tuesday 3rd January 2017, the first PokéStop that you visit each day will reward you with one single-use Incubator. You also have a greater chance that the Eggs you find could hatch Togepi, Pichu, and other Johto region Pokémon at PokéStops. There is also still time for you to find the Holiday Pikachu.
Ending on Sunday, 8th January 2017 there is an increase chance you will encounter Kanto Region starter Pokémon and their evolutions – Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise.
