Capcom has announced details of the Street Fighter V Second Season patch which is rolling out on the 20th December.
Part of the update brings new Holiday DLC which includes Ryu’s B-Boy and Chun-Li’s B-Girl costumes.
Don’t forget, there is a holiday bundle that will include all of the holiday content for the discounted price of $19.99 / £15.99 / 19.99€.
Fan favourite, Akuma will be added to the game including his Story, Premium Battle and Nostalgia costumes. The addition of Akuma marks part of the Season 2 Character Pass which will be filled out through 2017 with five brand new fighters, Premium Battle Costumes for each and an exclusive PS4 theme.
The patch also brings some new features to the game
- Direct Input controller support
- Background Music Select
- Fighter Profile Radar Charts
- Updated Rage Quit System
The latter feature is an attempt by Capcom to stem persistent rage quitters. Now, players that tend to drop out of games rather than complete them will be flagged in game with a new icon. Players who rage quit will also be more likely to be matchmade against other players who show the same behaviour. Also, if a player drops, they will lose League Points as if they had lost the match.
