At The Game Awards 2016, Psyonix showed off the new update that is coming for Rocket League called Starbase ARC.
The new content will be available to Rocket League players starting on the 7th December. In it, Psyonix is providing the Stabase ARC Arena for free. The Arena is described as “an octagonal, semi-standard stadium that orbits a huge (but familiar) desert planet where epic space battles are waged in the background and hulking celestial bodies drift about in the vastness of outerspace.”
The update also includes new music by Hollywood Principle feat. Dr. Awkward.
While the Starbase ARC Arena is free, if you want the new premium Battle-Car called Vulcan, that will cost you $1.99 or regional equivalent. Vulcan includes animated wings and “a sleek, futuristic look.” Decide for yourself as you can check out what the new Battle-Car looks like below.
Rocket League is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Also, as a reminder, the game features cross-platform play between PC and Xbox One players.
