Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment released Titanfall 2 and it hasn’t sold as well as expected even though it is arguably one of the best first-person shooter titles on the market right now. To help show just how highly rated the game is, the game has a new video in the form of the Titanfall 2 Encore trailer.
In the Titanfall 2 Encore trailer, which you can check out below, you can admire all the top marks that the game has received from different gaming outlets.
Although EA claims that Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 target different players looking for different things, that obviously only goes so far with a lot of FPS players purely looking for something to shoot at. So releasing Titanfall 2 a week after Battlefield 1 and a week before Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was never going to end well.
Respawn CEO Vince Zampella obviously isn’t too impressed with Electronic Arts’ decision making right now either. In an interview with Glixel about whether Titanfall 3 will be a thing the interview read
“We’d definitely like to tell more of the story and the universe. I think it’s pretty safe to assume that we’ll explore more of it. EA might have announced more. Devin?”
At this point, Devin Bennett, a publicist for EA, interjects, “What we’ve said is we’re committed to the franchise.”
“So, whatever the f*** that means,” retorted the Respawn CEO.
Titanfall 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and we highly recommend you give it a look. If you are a PlayStation 4 owner, you aren’t missing anything by picking up the game, the original which was exclusive to PC and Xbox One was a multiplayer only title. That means the campaign is fresh across all three platforms.
