Amazon and its Appstore have announced the Champions of Fire International, an eSports tournament aimed directly at mobile gamers.
The first Champions of Fire International event will have a prize pool of $100,000 and will feature 16 of the world’s biggest celebrity game streamers in Las Vegas on the 2nd December between 2pm and 9pm Pacific. CBS Sports Network will also run two-hour special showing highlights from the event on the 12th December at 7pm Pacific.
The sixteen contestants will play across five titles, Disney Crossy Road, Pac-Man 256, Bloons TD Battles, 8 Ball Pool, and the all-new Fruit Ninja Tournament Edition.
Players at the tournament include Boxbox, ProfessorBroman, Northernlion, lolRenaynay, and Brian Kibler.
The whole event will be streamed through the Amazon Appstore Twitch channel as well as being televised in the USA on CBS Sports Network.
