Previously, Phil Spencer has mentioned that Windows 10 will make “new ways to extend gaming across devices” and now the Xbox and Windows 10 team may be taking things a step further, by streaming Xbox One to Windows Phone 10. Windows 10 on PC already supports streaming from the Microsoft console but it will be interesting to see how it works on a mobile device.
Nawzil Najeeb, sales and marketing at Microsoft Mobile has posted on their Twitter that they were trying out the Beta version of tech which allows streaming from Xbox One to Windows Phone 10, in this case a Lumia 950. In the Tweet, you can see Forza Horizon 3 from Playground Games and Turn 10 with the familiar icons from a mobile phone on the left.

However, Nawzil did confirm that while Microsoft is killing off the Lumia, new Windows Phones will be launching in 2017, hopefully the Surface Phone. So maybe there is still hope for the Windows Phone 10 as an option.
