If you complete Titanfall 2 on Hard or Master, we did it on Master because you have to really, keep watching until the Titanfall 2 credits have finished. Once you do that, you’ll see Jack’s helmet lighting up.
Everything from this point on is SPOILERS so don’t proceed if you don’t want to know part of the story, we’ll keep it short and not reveal too much regardless.
The flashing isn’t random, it is binary. For every partial lighting up of the helmets visor it represents a 0, for every bright flash, it is a 1.
This sequence of events gives us
01001010 01100001 01100011 01101011 00111111
If you take that binary and convert it to text you get
01001010 – J
01100001 – A
01100011 – C
01101011 – K
00111111 – ?
Yep, the ghost in the shell, or helmet, is non-other than BT. How did he get in your helmet you may ask? Well, remember when you were time travelling and he needed to keep communications open with you? Remember how he said he would do that? That is right, he uploaded a part of himself into your helmet so he could keep in contact regardless of which timeline you were in.
Titanfall 2 is available now on PC via Origin, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
