Respawn Entertainment has put other games including shooter titles in its sights with new information about Titanfall 2 by confirming there would be no Season Pass or paid maps.
In the blog post “10 Ways Titanfall 2 is a different shooter” Respawn said
This means no splitting up the community and it all starts with the legendary Angel City map, remastered from the original Titanfall. This means once you’ve purchased Titanfall 2, your investment includes a full single player campaign, the full multiplayer maps and modes, and long-term support with no hidden costs. You can pre-order the game to play 3 days early, but it will never cost you extra.
The official Twitter account also poked fun at the industry standard of releasing a game and then adding content later through Season Passes and microtransactions.

Players who pre-order Titanfall 2 will gain access to multiplayer map Angel City three days before it is opened to everyone. Titanfall 2 launches for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 28th October 2016.
