UK video game retailer GAME is charging some in their retail locations to experience a PlayStation VR demo. For £5 you get a 10-minute session and £15 for a 30-minute blast on the new tech.
The store in Bromley appears to be the main outlet using this pay per play method and has even Tweeted about the “deal.” As you can imagine, the response hasn’t been entirely favourable.

When VR came around the first time, GAME had the large devices in their stores and queues of people wanting to try it, this could be GAME’s way to stop kids hanging out in the shop just to play PlayStation VR all day. So can’t totally blame them for pay gating the demos.
