Samsung has been having a tough time of it recently with their Galaxy Note 7 phone having reports of spontaneously catching fire and seeing the device being banned from commercial flights around the world.
So when Grand Theft Auto V modder HitmanNiko, converted the games sticky bomb into a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 like device, Samsung wasn’t too happy. So much so that the video showing the mod on YouTube has been hit with a DCMA takedown notice which has left the video with the message
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Samsung Electronics America, Inc. and its affiliates.
It isn’t known whether the takedown was via automated means by YouTube bots or whether the South Korean company manually issued the notice.
However it came to be, there are plenty of other videos showing the mod in action still running on YouTube.
Grand Theft Auto V is available for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Only the PC version supports mods.
