Sony has announced two new consoles which will both release this month, the PlayStation 4 Slim and the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The PlayStation 4 Pro, formerly known as Neo will release on the 10th November, and is available for pre-order now, will be capable of 4K and HDR. Double the GPU power of the PlayStation 4 and boosted clock speed for the CPU. The console comes with a 1TB HDD included and will be available for $399.99 / £349 / 399€.
Sony also announced that all PlayStation 4 consoles will gain the support of High Dynamic Range (HDR) colour capabilities of some UHD or 4K TVs with a firmware update that is planned to go out next week. It does not mean that the original PlayStation 4’s will have the ability to play UHD Blu-Ray’s.
