If you are in or near New York in September or October then consider heading out to Newark Valley where you’ll find a Super Mario Brothers corn maze.
Covering almost eight acres of land, the corn maze took weeks to plant and features Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Yoshi. The inspiration for the maze came from Deb Stoughton who owns Stoughton Farm with her husband Tim.

The Stoughton Farm has been planting corn mazes since 2005 and has included themes like a Vampire, “sleepy Hollow” style horse racing and an homage to renewable energy. Each year, they estimate around 10,000 visitors are attracted by the maze.
The maze attraction has helped the Stoughton Farm bottom line by not only bringing in tourists to try out the maze but to have the visitors visit the farm store and take part in other activities at the farm.
The Super Mario Brothers corn maze will be open to the public from the 17th September through to the 31st October. For pricing, hours of operation and more information check out their website at www.stoughtonfarm.com.
