Blizzard has confirmed the amount of Competitive Points (CP) players in Overwatch Competitive Season 1 will receive when the season ends on the 17th August.
The payout of Competitive Points will vary depending on your Skill Rank. The maximum payout is awarded to those over Skill Rank 65 and will get 300CP, enough to buy a gold weapon outright. As you go down the Skill Rank tree, the CP drop off is pretty dramatic so don’t expect to be buying anything this time around unless you played a lot of winning games.
- SR 0-39: 10 CP
- SR 40-45: 20 CP
- SR 46-49: 40 CP
- SR 50-52: 60 CP
- SR 53-55: 80 CP
- SR 56-59: 120 CP
- SR 60-64: 200 CP
- SR 65+: 300 CP
Players who at least completed the ten placement games will get a Season 1 spray and icon. Those who managed to break into the top 500 Competitive players for the Season will get an animated spray.
Overwatch Season 2 is scheduled to start on the 6th September 2016 but the day is open to change.
Overwatch is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
