Former Electronic Arts Senior VP of Mobile Strategy and Operations, Matt Bromberg has joined Zynga as their new Chief Operating Officer.
Starting his four years run at EA, Bromberg started as the General Manager of the BioWare Austin office, then GM of BioWare itself before moving on to becoming Senior VP of Mobile Strategy and Operations.
Prior to EA, he served as President and CEO of Major League Gaming (MLG).
Zynga CEO Frank Gibeau, who headed EA’s mobile push himself before joining Zynga, said
Matt is an experienced and proven leader who has worked with some of gaming’s highest quality studios and biggest franchises. He will help us build a world-class studio that brings Zynga’s social gaming vision to life in our products for our players.
Matt Bromberg is the fourth appointed COO at Zynga is as many years. Joh Schappert (former EA employee), David Ko (former Yahoo!) and then Clive Downie (former DeNA West)
