Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption will be available to play on your Xbox One this week as the game gets the backwards compatibility treatment. The game will be available to play and purchase digitally starting on Friday 8th July.
Often showing near the top of the requested titles to be added to backwards compatibility, Red Dead Redemption required Microsoft to implement the multi-disc support in their system to allow the game to work as it released on two discs for Xbox 360.
When the game goes live, it will also have support for the Undead Nightmare expansion, and the Game of the Year edition.
Other titles that top the most requested titles to be added to backwards compatibility are Call of Duty: Black Ops II and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
