Kerbal Space Program developer, Squad has announced that the spacefaring title would be releasing on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in July.
In KSP, you run your own NASA style organisation with the aim to get your Kerbals into space. The cute little race appear to be happy at any stage, even if plummeting from space without a hope of survival, they’ll always be smiling.
Build your own space capable vehicles, or not in most cases, and launch them skyward in one of three game modes.
- Sandbox: Build without restriction and have tiny vehicles through to the most complex behemoth.
- Science Mode: Perform scientific experiments and advance the knowledge of the Kerbals to unlock new technologies
- Career Mode: Control every aspect of the space program including crew management, complete “contracts” to earn funds and upgrade your space center facilities.
Kerbal Space Program is currently available for Mac and PC. The Xbox One version was previously announced back in August 2015 but didn’t have any kind of schedule associated with it until now.
