Bethesda has confirmed that the Fallout 4 official mod portal generated 50 times more traffic on Xbox One than it did on PC.
The mod support has launched on Xbox One this week and gets a month head start on the PlayStation 4 joining the mod portal. The kind of traffic being generated by Xbox One is bound to be a good news for Bethesda as it shows that console players have an interest in mods too.
Xbox traffic was 50x the initial #Fallout4 PC mod launch. It’s a new world & just the beginning. New features & PS4 support in the works.

The portal which resides at Bethesda.net saw more traffic for Xbox One than the PC version had in the same launch period.
Of course, PC players of Fallout 4 can get mods from multiple sources and install them manually instead of through Bethesda’s automated system which the Xbox One version uses and needn’t have to use the Fallout 4 official mod portal at all.
Fallout 4 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
