Rocket League PC and Xbox One players will be able to challenge each other starting today as the first cross platform game between Xbox One and PC gets an update.
Starting at 4pm PDT / 11pm BST PC and Xbox One players can directly go head to head or team up or, if you prefer you can select the option which allows you to stay within your own platform player base.
Microsoft previously announced that PC and Xbox One players would be able to play cross platform and opened the offer for Sony to join with PlayStation 4 but Sony has so far been keen to avoid that discussion claiming legalities may prevent it from ever happening.
The update for Rocket League PC and Xbox One goes out later today from Psyonix.
Rocket League is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
