The Russian Embassy in the UK appear to have taken some shortcuts in reporting important issues on their Official Twitter page by using images of Command & Conquer: Genrals to make their point. The post was in regard to extremists near Aleppo getting a shipment of chemical weapons. As they didn’t have official images, they appear to have Google’d “Bomb Truck” and the first result came back with EA’s Command & Conquer.

Even though the Embassy flagged the media with “Image used for illustration purposes only”, this being the Internet, others were quick to build on the news story with more “Official” images.

Even EA’s Peter Moore jumped in
On behalf of our Command and Conquer team, I’m demanding royalties for this photo of “extremists…” https://t.co/Q3p65tBaAT
