Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is pushing to promote its new Groups beta feature by allowing players in parties of two or more players to get Double XP and Double Weapon XP in multiplayer and zombies from now until Friday.
The Groups feature allows Black Ops 3 players to expand their network by helping to find other like minded players to team up with or to even create a clan. To use it, simply select the Groups option from the Social menu and team up. Once in a Group, you can head to the Group Headquarters to see a Roster of other members, group messages and be able to follow their ranking on custom Group Leaderboards.
The double XP runs from now until Friday, at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm UK.
Oddly enough, Activision closed Call of Duty Elite back in 2014 which was the online location for clans and socialising.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The latest DLC, Eclipse launches on PC and Xbox One on the 19th May, it is already available to PlayStation 4 owners of the game.
