Capcom has announced that Guile will be joining the ranks of fighters in Street Fighter V as part of the April Update.
Bringing both of his signature moves, Sonic Boom and Somersault Kick he can take on opponents on the ground or in the air as well as getting low with his crouch walk state called Faultless Move.
His moves include
V-Skill – Sonic Blade: Combined with Sonic Boom you can find yourself coming out on top of projectile battles as the move increases the durability of the Sonic Boom.
V-Trigger – Solid Puncher: Fire continuous Sonic Booms each at a different speed depending on which button is pressed.
Critical Art – Sonic Hurricane: A massive multi-hit Sonic Boom, the Critical Art gets a damage and range boost when V-Trigger is active.
Of course, Guile wouldn’t be Guile without his own air base stage. This will come free for Season Pass holders or for 70,000FM from the shop.
Also as part of the April update, Capcom takes on the fighters rage quitting problem. If you happen to quit out frequently, you will be locked out of matchmaking for a period of time. Players that fall foul of the new system will get an in-game message notifying them of their limited matchmaking ability.
Street Fighter V will also be getting matchmaking improvements which should make it easier to create and connect to Battle Lounges while easing the restrictions on finding an opponent.
Street Fighter V is available now on PC and PlayStation 4
