Ubisoft have announced that The Division Open Beta will run from the 19th-21st February on PC, PlayStation 4. Xbox One players can take part from the 18th-21st February.
If you have a slow Internet connection then fear not. Ubisoft will be opening pre-loading of The Division Open Beta starting on the 16th February ahead of the servers becoming available.
Ubisoft covered the elephant in the room regarding the exploits and cheats that plagued the PC Closed Beta saying that most of the issues were mostly fixed.
The development team has resolved most of the PC cheating issues tracked during the closed beta, and all of them will be resolved by launch on March 8. The developers will continue to closely monitor the open beta for any new issues, and address them accordingly.
For those who took part in the Closed Beta there are reasons to try the Open Beta. Ubisoft is making a new story mission available and in-game rewards for the full game for everyone who plays in the Open Beta. You also get to see the developers progression the feedback they got from players.
