Ark: Survival Evolved will be available as early access on Xbox Game Preview starting on the 16th December.
The open world prehistoric evolutionary survival game puts you in the loin cloth of a cave person fighting for survival as you build up your bases, technological know-how and tame/kill dinosaurs.
As your knowledge and experience increases you can find yourself riding dinosaurs into battle against other tribes of players with anything from slingshots and spears up to gattling guns and mechanical T-Rex’s.
Talking of mechanical T-Rex’s, you’ll need to jump into the Ark: Survival Evolved early access which will cost $34.99 on the Xbox Game Preview and it includes an exclusive bionic “Tek” T-Rex, Safari Hat and Survivor’s Trophy. You will also get exclusive Xbox One content prior to the games full launch in June 2016.
The game will not be cross platform play with the PC version, at least in Game Preview but who knows what the future holds.
Ark: Survival Evolved will be available on the Xbox Game Preview starting on the 16th December and includes all the content the PC version currently has. The PC version is available on Steam now for $29.99.
