Hitman will be getting a beta in February, it will first land on PlayStation 4 starting on the 12th February followed by PC on the 19th February. The beta will run for those players that have pre-ordered the game prior to the beta commending. There will not be an Xbox One beta.
The demo is set 20 years in the past and shows how Agent 47 becomes the man he is after being recruited to the International Contract Agency (ICA).
Square Enix have confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version of Hitman will feature six exclusive contracts known as The Sarajevo Six “These are self-contained contracts that see Agent 47 travel the world in pursuit of six former members of a paramilitary unit called CICADA”
Hitman also marks the start of a new release system for Square Enix where by you can purchase the game for the usual full price of $60 and get all the content released throughout the year, or you can pay $35 for an Intro Pack which gives you the content that releases in March with the option of upgrading to get the rest of the content for $30 extra.
In March you’ll have access to Paris (France), Sapienze (Italy) and Marrakesh (Morocco), through the year additional hubs will include Thailand, United States and Japan.
Hitman will release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 11th March 2016.
