Microsoft project manager Varun Mani, has posted a video to his YouTube channel showing how HoloLens streams Xbox One feeds to any surface, or floating in space.
In the brief video Mani plays Halo 5: Guardians on his TV, then decides it might be better if Halo 5 was on his wall. Moving and resizing the feed in air the game continues to play.
As Xbox One can stream media, apps and games to other networked devices there is no reason why you couldn’t watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc from your Xbox One while sitting on the loo, making a drink or other mundane real life activities.
Initially, streaming your games to a HoloLens are quite cost prohibitive with dev kits costing $3,000 and shipping in Q1 of 2016.
