Ubisoft has made a last minute decision to delay the Rainbow Six Siege Open Beta on all platforms which was due to start today.
The decision was made due to matchmaking problems which were announced on the Rainbow Six Siege Open Beta forums.
We’re currently seeing issues with matchmaking times and disconnection on all platforms. As such we’re postponing the open beta until a later time and keeping the game under closed beta status. We apologise for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements.
There is no current discussion of delaying the release of the full game due to this issue but Ubisoft will be extra cautious about rocky launches after some high profile launches with buggy titles over the past year.
Rainbow Six: Siege is due to launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 1st December.
